As 2024 comes to a close, we at Agape Pediatric Dentistry are reflecting on what has been an incredible first year. From dreaming of creating a warm, welcoming pediatric dental practice to making it a reality, this year has been filled with hard work, community connections, and growth. Here's a look back at some of the highlights and milestones that have defined our journey.
From Vision to Reality: Building Agape Pediatric Dentistry
Opening a pediatric dental office isn’t just about unlocking doors; it’s a journey of passion, determination, and countless hours of planning. This year, we signed a lease for our space at 5185 Peachtree Pkwy, Suite 325, Peachtree Corners and began the exciting (and daunting) process of turning it into our dream practice.
We started with a blank slate—literally demolishing the existing space—and completely rebuilt it to create a facility that’s as functional as it is beautiful. Every detail was thoughtfully designed to create a child-friendly environment that reflects our values of care and compassion.
Finally, after months of hard work, we opened our doors and welcomed our very first pediatric dental patients. The process was far from easy, but we are proud of the space we’ve built and the vision we’ve brought to life.
Engaging with the Peachtree Corners Community
Being part of the Peachtree Corners community has been one of the greatest joys of this year. We’ve had the privilege of participating in numerous local events at the Forum at Peachtree Corners, connecting with families, and building relationships along the way. Some of the highlights include:
Peachtree Corners Festival 2024
Held on September 21-22, 2024, the 13th annual Peachtree Corners Festival was a vibrant celebration of community spirit, featuring arts and crafts vendors, live music, food trucks, and a classic car show. We had the pleasure of meeting many local families, sharing information about pediatric dental health, and enjoying the festivities together.
Little Peaches 2024
Little Peaches is a delightful event series hosted at The Forum in Peachtree Corners, designed for young children and their families. We participated in the October sessions, engaging with parents and kids through fun activities and educational materials about dental care, emphasizing the importance of early oral health habits.
Trick-or-Treat 2024 @ The Forum
Halloween at The Forum was a spooktacular event where local businesses, including ours, handed out treats to costumed children. We enjoyed seeing the creative costumes and providing goodies, along with dental care tips, to promote healthy smiles even amidst the candy excitement.
Tree Lighting at The Forum 2024
On November 23, 2024, we joined the community at The Forum's annual Tree Lighting ceremony. The evening was filled with festive entertainment, including face painting, holiday crafts, and live performances, culminating in the illumination of the holiday tree and the arrival of Santa Claus. It was a heartwarming experience to share the holiday spirit with our neighbors.
Through these events, we've deepened our connection to the Peachtree Corners community, fostering relationships that extend beyond our dental office. We look forward to continuing our involvement in local events and supporting the families we serve.
In addition to events, we visited local schools like Bright Learning Academy and The Goddard School in November, spreading the word about the importance of pediatric dental health and forging valuable connections.
Recognition and Growth
We are deeply humbled to have been recognized as one of the Top 3 Pediatric Dentists in Peachtree Corners in 2024. This honor, along with earning a perfect 5-star rating on Google with 36 glowing reviews, reminds us that the hard work and love we pour into our practice resonate with the families we serve.
Expanding Services to Better Serve Our Patients
This year, we expanded our offerings to include Myo Munchee Therapy and Tongue Tie and Lip Tie Treatment (Frenectomy). These additions allow us to address a wider range of pediatric oral health needs, ensuring every child receives comprehensive and compassionate care.
Living the Vision of Agape Love
You may wonder, what does “Agape” mean? Agape (pronounced ah-GAH-pay) embodies selfless, unconditional, and universal love. It’s the heart of our practice and the guiding principle behind every interaction we have with patients and families.
At Agape Pediatric Dentistry, we work hand in hand with parents to provide exceptional oral healthcare. Our practice is proudly female-led, locally owned, and doctor-operated, which means that every visit to our office includes personal care from Dr. G herself. We’re committed to building trust and forming lasting partnerships with families, all while fostering a loving, supportive environment.
